I have I have developed a genuine fondness of writing in a journalistic manner while working for the Chant. In my involvement with the newspaper, I have performed in various capacities: Staff Reporter, Business Manager, and this year I serve as Managing Editor. I am thrilled to continue the rewarding experience of creating a newspaper.

KIRA MCNEILL

I am part of journalism because I enjoy writing editorials and new stories. It's a new writing process and learning process which I feel is beneficial to me. I am also doing this because I have expressed interest in continuing journalism throughout my college years.

KAREN JIE

I write because it frees my mind from the binds of whatever thoughts are stuck to me that day. It's the comings and goings on campus that inspire me to write.
