Andon Mehren and Anisha Jaggi are both well-known seniors at The Gregory School, each with amazing personalities. Anisha has been attending TGS since 6th grade, while Andon just started attending the school this year.
Although Andon is new to TGS this year, the biggest lesson that he has learned so far is the beauty of Shakespeare. Thanks to Mrs. Young, his eyes opened, and the new and fascinating world of Shakespeare was introduced to him.
Anisha on the other hand, stated that one of the biggest lessons that she has learned from TGS is that “people in the real world will not look out for you like how they do in The Gregory School community.”
Along with Andon´s affinity for literature, he and Anisha share a common interest for reading. If they had more free time, they would both use it to sit down and start a new book. On a more adventurous note, one of Andon’s dream activities is to jet ski on a lake instead of the ocean, and Anisha wishes to get over her fear of heights by ziplining.
During their senior year, they have both grown as people and have found subjects that they are most interested in. Anisha’s favorite class at TGS is psychology because of her “interest [in] the human condition” while Andon finds English class to be the most fascinating, due to his interest in reading and writing.
With the year coming to an end, both Andon and Anisha have started thinking about their future plans. Andon, who wanted to be an astronaut when he was young, now wants to attend a college, which has yet to be chosen, and go into business. Anisha, who once aspired to be a writer, is going to take a more relaxed approach on her after highschool plans and “take it as [she] goes.”
