Best Halloween Activities in Tucson!

Nightfall: Nightfall is a haunted house attraction, located on the set of an old Wild West town. The price to enter is $30 per ticket. It consists of 4 major haunted houses: Kill Billy Basin, Happy Clown Snack Factory, Iron Door Mine, and Nightmare Infirmary. Along with many different choices of food, there are other activities, such as a haunted hayride, a Twisted Train Trail, and shows at specific times of the night.

Buckelew Farms Terror in the Corn: Terror in the Corn is an 11-acre cornfield with 4 miles of trail running throughout. It is $25 for one ticket and the maze is open from 6:30 pm to 12:00 am every Friday, Saturday and, of course, on Halloween. Live actors and chilling props are dispersed around the one-hour long maze. Expect both a test of your navigational skills and memory as well as an enjoyable walk. It also features a separate activity called the Zombie Paintball Shootout, where you test your aim with paintball guns on live actors who act like zombies.

Slaughterhouse: The Slaughterhouse is known to be Tucson's scariest haunted attraction during the Halloween season. It includes five horrifying haunted houses and three escape rooms. It’s open from Thursday to Sunday. The haunted houses are called Voodoo Bayou, Cirque De Slay, The Boiler Room, City Meats and, finally, Apocalypse, which features the ability to fight back with fake pistols. Actors get up close and personal, meaning that the Slaughterhouse is definitely not for the faint of heart. Tickets for all five haunted houses and one escape room are priced at $40, but there are other options depending on your preferred scares.

Apple Annie’s Pumpkin Patch: On a more kid-friendly note, Apple Annie’s Pumpkin Patch is a family-friendly activity that involves getting dirty. Although it isn't scary, picking your own pumpkin is a long-lasting tradition that Apple Annie’s provides. You must wear closed-toed shoes and jeans, and it's highly recommended to bring your own gloves to avoid the sharp thorns on the stems of the pumpkins. You have 40 acres of land from which you pick and choose your perfect plain pumpkin or one of their specialty pumpkins. Each ticket to enter costs $4, and the pumpkins are priced by weight.
