Clark and Josiah: Basketball Bro's

Josiah Prior and Clark Mabie have been close friends since last year. Clark describes Josiah as “loud and funny,” while Josiah describes Clark as “awkward but awesome.” They have both been attending The Gregory School since their junior year and agree that their senior year is going “pretty well so far…[but] senioritis is definitely kicking in.”

Both seniors are on the TGS basketball team, which has just begun its 2019 season and won the state tournament for basketball last year. Josiah credited the basketball team as his shaping memory from his time at TGS. He also appreciates the overall atmosphere and community of the school. Clark also enjoyed the state tournament win but says that “one of [his] favorite memories from TGS is the junior trip.”

Though Clark and Josiah may be known for their basketball, they have more leisurely interests too. They both play video games, “specifically Call of Duty, Fortnite, and 2K.” Clark also enjoys cooking and Josiah, who works at a tattoo shop, mentions that he spends his time “[hanging] out with Marina and [working].”

When asked about any hidden talents they may have, Clark says his talent is “probably graffiti.” Josiah says other than “this thing with [his] tongue, where it sticks to itself…” his hidden talents are yet to be discovered.

Josiah and Clark are two very active people with a variety of interests. Whether it be futures in basketball or cooking, Josiah and Clark have exciting paths ahead of them after high school. Be sure to stop by a basketball game in the near future to support them (and the rest of the team)!
