Oversized Clothing
If you want to be a hypebeast, you have to go big. Hypebeasts LOVE oversized clothing as their slogan is “the bigger the better.” Oversized clothes allow more air circulation which will make you feel refreshed and cool. They also eliminate the necessity of wearing pants. We highly recommend both girls and boys to try that and it will open up a whole new world for you.
Drop
Hype brands release their products online, in an event known as the drop, and sell out within minutes. They usually drop in the morning, so in order to buy the newest clothes and shoes the minute they release, you have to stay up all night, go to the brand website, and stare at it until the drop. If the drop happens while you are at school and in the middle of a class, excuse yourself to the bathroom and rush to the spot with the best wifi.
Collaborations
Hype brands collaborate with each other all the time. Collabs make uncool brands cool. As hypebeasts you have to own collaborated clothing such as the recently released Costco x Mcdonald’s socks.
Never Wear New Shoes
Hypebeasts never wear their new kicks. They buy them and store them just like what people do with fine wine. Don’t wear your new kicks. If you have to, bring a soft-bristle brush and scrub them every five minutes you wear them outside.
