Sam Whittman, Avi Sanan, and Luca Michallet

One of the senior classes' most well-known and light-hearted trios is Sam Whittman, Avi Sanan, and Liam Michallet-Ferrier. They are all well-known seniors at The Gregory School, with Sam and Liam attending The Gregory School since 6th grade and Avi since 7th. They have become very close friends over the years.

One of their most cherished memories is an activity from middle school they called “bush bombing.” This basically entailed shoving your friend into the nearest bush with no notice and then running away.

Although they had an interesting take on what's fun in middle school, they definitely have some strong advice for underclassmen from what they have learned over the years. Sam and Liam both suggested taking “easy classes that you find interesting.” Avi adds, “ if you're going to take easy classes, I would say, do something on the side, whether it's selling baseball cards or a sport you like.”

The three are all very academically focused and also have several hobbies and accomplishments to boot. Sam Whittman has played soccer with the TGS high school team and also enjoys working on his car in his free time. Liam makes his own computers and plays video games while Avi has impressively created a scholarship program for students. The scholarship program is called Center for Educational Scholarships (CES), which was founded in 2018 and is directed towards scholarships for disadvantaged students and schools.

With many years full of adventure ahead of them, they each have specific goals that they want to accomplish in the future: Avi hopes to travel the world, Liam wants to go skydiving, and Sam aspires to hold the world record for car flipping.

I think it's safe to say that this crew is among the goofiest of the class of 2020. It will be interesting to see if they are able to achieve their extreme goals, which I have no doubt they will.
